Many thanks to all who attended our 7th Annual Tea on the Lawn and to all who contributed so generously.

We more than met our goal of $1000 for the Museum.

And through an additional match from our anonymous donors, a fund is being established to provide free admission for 120 Lomita public school children.

Pulitzer Prize nominee Craig MacDonald is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society, and the author of 18 books on the West. The historian, who speaks at universities and national conferences, writes original stories on the Gold Rush for Sierra Heritage Magazine. His relatives came to California in a covered wagon during the Gold Rush.
