Many thanks to all who attended our 7th Annual Tea on the Lawn and to all who contributed so generously.

We more than met our goal of $1000 for the Museum.

And through an additional match from our anonymous donors, a fund is being established to provide free admission for 120 Lomita public school children.

2013 was a very successful year!

More Programs! More Events!

28% more visitors than in 2012!

Haunted Museum

Free admission

For 2 weeks starting Oct 20th the Museum will be transformed into a haunted museum. On Halloween, Oct 31st, from 4:00 to 5:30, Lomita Parks & Recreation and Railroad Museum staff will read stories to the kids and will have games for them to play. And, of course, there will be candy!

At 5:30, we will encourage the kids to head to Lomita Park for the Halloween Parade and Carnival.

We need your help to continue building our educational programs & enhancing museum displays for even more children & adults in 2014!

Your dollars & in-kind donations make a direct impact on the resources and services the Museum offers!
