About the event

Take a trip by train back in time. Volunteer docents will be available to answer any questions about artifacts, including some never before seen by the public! Tours will also be provided of both our 1910 Union Pacific Caboose, and our steam locomotive: Southern Pacific 2-6-0 #1765. This will provide a more in depth look at life on the railroad in the early 20th century, presented as how they would have looked in service. Equipment demonstrations will also be shown, including a demonstration of our 1881 Fairbanks & Morse Velocipede, used for track maintenance.

Historic Automobiles provided by multiple volunteer groups will populate the exterior, providing an insight into other modes of transportation.

Photo opportunities will also be available to all who would like a souvenir photograph of their adventure, complete with different props to hold during your photo!

Live entertainment will occur throughout the evening performed by multiple local groups.

This event is recommended for ages 13+ due to subject matter that may not be suitable for younger audiences. While we always strive to make the museum appealing to everyone, not all younger attendees may find this event appealing.
