The Lomita Railroad Museum Foundation is excited to announce the second talk in our 2024 annual free Speaker Series.
Major historic events forever change art. Please join us on August 9th at 6:00pm for:
“The First World War and the Art it Inspired” presented by Alejandro Gehry
In this interesting talk Alejandro will show examples of how artists were hired during the war and what they contributed during that time. He will also have a display of several uniforms and pieces of equipment from World War I.
- The talk starts at 6:00
- The museum will also be open before and for a limit time after the presentation.
- There is limited parking in the museum parking lot an street parking around the museum
- We will be serving coffee and cookies
